Green & Purple!

Young Gunna & BabeHound
I have recently got an opportunity I thought I'd never get. I got to work with BabeHound and Young Gunna on the same track. They are two very talented, lyrical, and young artists. I got a call from BH out of nowhere to tell me he was in town. My first thought was, "We gonna drop a track tonight!" So I called out of work and headed to the pick up. This was the first time meeting BH in person, but we instantly clicked when it came to music. We both had the same mind set of things and how we see music. I told him how I wanted to hear someone rip the "Black & Yellow" by Wiz Khalifa instrumental and the first thing he said was, "Green & Purple." With the concept of Money & Purple Haze at hand not only being what it is, but a lifestyle, I knew it would be a banger. Then, a collab popped up in my mind with Young Gunna on hand. Before I could even tell Young Gunna the instrumental we were gonna do, he texted me sayin that he wanted to do the "Black & Yellow" instrumental. Right when I read that, I knew it was meant to go down. Their styles went hand in hand. We all linked up in Phive Studios and got straight to work. The hook came natural and the verses came to them like it was already thought of. So we spent countless hours laying down vocals. But in only one night we finished the track. BH and I stayed up mixing and editing the track until 7:30AM. Phive Studios was live as f*** until we left. And so came the banger "Green & Purple" ft. Young Gunna by BabeHound.

Phive's Rookie Of The Year 2010: Jag (of Larsiny/Krossover Ent.)

Jag
Jag of Larsiny/Krossover Ent. is one of the most talented rappers that I have come across. Jag linked up with one of the best rappers in the game & an East Coast veteran; Cassidy. Cassidy had the right idea by signing this talented individual from the West Coast; Los Angeles, California to be exact. Both rappers are from two different coasts and yet have the perfect flows to match. The word play of Jag is amazing just like Cassidy's. His metaphors are sick, flow is insane, and he is very versatile. Although some may say he raps about nothing, but the streets and how he gets his hustle on, he is rapping about his life and being real about it. But one key freestyle that he showed his versatility in is the All I Want Is You Remix by Miguel ft. Jag & J. Cole, which he fuses his rough, grimmy style with an R&B artist such as Miguel and a lyrical phenomenon like J. Cole to form a track about women in their lives. It is sad that he kind of went unnoticed this year because as I said before, he is one of the most talented rappers out right now. I expect big things from Jag & Cass. They have so much potential to blow up. And I have a feeling 2011 will be their year.

Team TakeOff in flight!

Team TakeOff is literally taking flight. This local Orlando, FL area group is blowing up fast. Performing at different venues any chance they get. TakeOff is getting noticed pretty fast. I personally have worked with Noodle and plan on working a lot more with him. He is very talented as is the rest of the TakeOff crew; Danger, J-Kirv, & S-Y. TakeOff has been working very hard to get their shine. From doing shows to getting cameos in music videos to meetings in Miami with record labels and doing shows down there. I will be looking forward to hopefully working with the group in the future. Shouts out to Team TakeOff. Y'all doing y'all thing. Their next performance will be on Friday, October 15th, 2010 in Orlando, FL at The Cameo:
1013 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL 32803.

BabeHound is Big Ballin'

BabeHound
I have been following BabeHound's music since the day I heard V-Splash ft. Vasser. He has a unique flow coming straight out of the Bronx, New York. BH has been rapping since he was thirteen and and started to participate in school talent shows. To get on stage as a young rapper alone shows potential to become one of the greatest. Being an ambitious artist, BabeHound distributed his mixtapes throughout the BX and participated in many collabs. He is working on an album as we speak. For a young talented artist, it shouldn't be that long until we here this unique album. He has put out a video for one of his hit songs. Big Ballin' Baby directed by Jordan Towers. One of my personal favorite songs of BabeHound's is Round My Hometown. You can find it on his Myspace music page. I look forward to working with BabeHound in the future. Keep up the good work. You are on your way to the top homie.

Young Gunna; An Upcoming Artist

Young Gunna
Micheal Gray, also known as Young Gunna, is an upcoming artist that goes in for real. I have been working with him since I have started my road to become a music producer. Both of us, being part of Top Notch Ent., have sat in the studio for hours under many occasions. We will continue working together until we both make it. Check out his music on his Hot New Hip Hop page. We recorded 9 P.M. Freestyle and Light Up Freestyle in my studio. Being a lyrical genius that he is, we finished both in one night. Now that I am working on making instrumentals for this talented young artist, we will be putting out a Top Notch Ent. mixtape soon. Look out for us. We on our way.
